Now and back then with aluminium!

This year, SVERO celebrates its 70th anniversary, and we look back on our fantastic and exciting journey during the year.

It all started back in 1955 when Roland Svensson, one of the founders of SVERO, began designing and further developing lifting products. Ever since then, we have strived to improve and renew our range of products to meet the needs of the industry and our customers.

During these seven decades, we have made great progress in materials, design and functionality. A good example is the aluminum trolley that we have developed and where we have managed to reduce the weight significantly without compromising strength or performance. With the square suspension bolt, they are not only easy to assemble, but also easy to bring along – a great advantage for service and maintenance jobs, for example.

Here we show two different combinations of trolley and manual hoist where there is a 70-year difference in age. Today's aluminum chain hoist weighs only 4.3 kilograms – a significant difference from the 9.5 kilogram hoist we developed in the 1950s. Together with our aluminum trolley, the difference between the two combinations is a total of 9.2 kilograms!
The result is lifting products that are easier to handle and use, which increases both safety and efficiency in work.

We are proud of our history and development, but we are not stopping here. We look forward to continuing to develop and create new lifting products and can already reveal that we have some exciting launches planned during the year!
