Today we offer products from our own manufacturing and solutions of the highest quality from carefully selected suppliers. Our head office is located just south of Jönköping, and we are a dozen people working to lift your business.
No matter what you are lifting, it is of the highest importance to do it correctly. We strive towards offering the highest quality through the entire process, and to ensure you, and ourselves, of the quality and function, all of our products go through safety tests, usually using RISE, Research Institute of Sweden (former SP).
As an important lane in our quality and safety work we are also quality assured according ISO 9001:2015. This is a guarantee that our products and services constantly keep a high level.
For us, sustainability is an important part of our business, and an essential condition for a modern company. Yes, to use resources effectively is as much part of our legacy as it is a necessity for the future. Today we have well-developed thoughts regarding the environment cycle, and preventative work is obvious for our co-workers, and as a part of our job we have chosen to certify ourselves both according to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015.
After many years of manufacturing in Taiwan and China we have now moved parts of our own manufacture back to Sweden. Today many of our products are manufactured on Habo, only a few miles north from where it all started. Thanks to new manufacturing methods and materials we can now reach shorter lead times as well as consistent and high quality. Our goal is to have our own manufacture in Sweden by 2020.
Svero’s history goes a long way back, all the way back to the 1930s, where it all started when Hugo Fors started to manufacture lifting blocks under the name Månsarps Mekaniska Verkstad (Månsarp’s Mechanic Workshop). The high quality and function made the products very popular, and they were sold in large quantities all over the world.
Another big breakthrough was the lifting block in aluminium, which was constructed in the mid 1960s.
